MP3s On The Go ! |
This nifty piece of kit is terrific if you travel about in the car a lot and want to listen to crystal clear music without having to take a stack of CDs with you. By plugging it into the earphone socket of your MP3 player (or any other device such as laptop, walkman or minidisk) you can direct the output to your car radio. Just tune in one of the 4 frequencies (all around 88MHz on FM), and the sound blasts out through the cars speaker system. Power can be supplied through the cigarette lighter socket too, so no chance of batteries dying half-way through a long journey. Of course, this is just one use of the device - use it indoors to pump music through your hifi system too!The only drawback I could find was the brevity of instructions causing frustration at finding the less than obvious on/off button.

T3 is brilliant !! BUT PLEASE DONT BUY THIS CASE !!! |
The Palm Tungsten T3 is a fabulous piece of kit; expensive but worth it. Sadly the same cannot be said of this case. I wasnt impressed with Palms own case for the Palm M505 and the same applied to their case for the T3. It is not up to the job.Cost of the T3 means the case is essential and I always prefer a metal case. So when I bought my T3 I bought Palms T3 metal case. I put the cased T3 in my trouser pocket for about 15 minutes. When I took the case out the front cover was badly buckled; the T3 was alright inside. After such a short time such buckling was totally unacceptable. It was obivous that the case would not stand the rough and tumble that my previous metal cases have taken on an almost daily basis. I have now but a leather case by KRUSSEL via E-Bay and that appears to be doing a much better job than Palms own case. So my advice, if you can afford it buy a T3 ((and Amazon.co.uk are currently the cheapest seller in the UK)). A case is essential but please not this one.

Snappy protecting wallet, but some drawbacks |
|
The wallet is just that: a wallet that protects the Tungsten from scratches and knocks. It has room for two credit cards and a couple of SD cards. You could also get paper receipts in there too. Dont expect to use it as a replacement for your wallet (I was hoping to, alas). The Tungsten is held in the waller with a plastic clip which works well, but you have to take the Tungsten out of the wallet to synchronize it.
